Epson developed the S2S65A30 as a single chip solution to support the advanced features required in a state-of-the-art drive recorder. The S2S65A30 also speeds the development cycle and reduces development man-hours as it is pin compatible with the existing S2S65A00 and backward compatible with earlier software. The New S2S65A30 has features such as input image-correction achieved by real-time image processing and interlaced-to-progressive scan image conversion that easily allows the connection with cameras using interlaced scanning. It is also capable of replaying recorded images and high-speed writing to SD cards. The operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C is guaranteed.
