New travel-ready HandyDrive series, featuring 2.5-inch external hard disk drive (HDD) with up to 500GB(*¹) of storage space in a sleek, compact and self-powered design, to Hong Kong customers. Engineered for frequent travellers and mobile professionals, the new Fujitsu HandyDrive, is equipped with a new password-lock tool option to secure stored data. Its new utility management also reduces the HDD’s power consumption in stand-by mode by 35% over normal idle mode. Available in capacities of 160GB, 250GB, 320GB, 400GB and 500GB, the new Fujitsu HandyDrive is bundled with a new password lock tool, assuring users that their data will be protected and unauthorised access will be prevented. Designed for busy mobile professionals, Fujitsu’s HandyDrive weighs less than 220 grams with a robust housing of 142mm (D) x 82mm (W) x 22mm (H) in size, which is comparable to a pocket-size book. The new HDD’s integrated, bus-powered USB 2.0 interface freely permits the drive’s connection and disconnection during computer operations. Data protection is further enhanced with HandyDrive’s distinctive shock-endurance mechanism which helps reduce the effect of impact as users are working on the road.
