Kenwood’s Digital Radio System successfully supports G8 Hokkaido, Japan Summit

Kenwood Corporation (President and CEO: Kazuo Shiohata; Head Office: Hachioji, Tokyo) announces that its Digital Land Mobile Radio System supported for the G8 Hokkaido, Japan Summit (conference of major industrialized nations) between July 7 and 9, 2008 as a communication system for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Kenwood’s Digital Land Mobile Radio System used by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs included the NEXEDGE series of Digital Land Mobile Radio products, newly developed for the Business & Industry market in North America and launched in December 2007.
