SAMSUNG Soul is designed for style-conscious users who do not wish to compromise technology for design. This slim and stylish slider phone boasts a fantastic portfolio of functions whilst remaining lightweight and simple to use. SAMSUNG Soul offers a new series of graphic user interfaces (GUI) offering users a choice of three options. With Thematic UI users can change their UI according to their personal tastes. The SAMSUNG Soul also offers users super-fast Internet access through the 7.2 Mbps High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA). In addition to sharing images and video taken with the phone, users can download songs at a faster speed compared with average 3G handsets. The SAMSUNG Soul is perfect for music listeners with features such as music library navigation, digital power amplifier by Bang & Olufsen ICEpower and 3.5 mm headset adapter.

SAMSUNG Mobile has announced the launch of SAMSUNG Soul, SAMSUNG’s new flagship mobile for the first half of 2008 and next evolution of the exclusive Ultra range.

For fast access to all the phone’s features, SAMSUNG Soul adapts according to the application in use. The Magical Touch navigation indicators on the keypad screen change according to the users needs, making the menu simple, intuitive and quick to use. For example, when in music mode, music related icons appear, when in camera mode, camera related icons such as zoom and brightness appear.

SAMSUNG Soul offers a new series of graphic user interfaces (GUI) offering users a choice of three options. With Thematic UI users can change their UI according to their personal tastes. The User Created Skin function allows customers to create and customise their own skin using the fonts and images provided, as well as change the colour of the Magical Touch window background and icons to suit their mood.

Consistent with the look of the popular ‘Ultra Edition’ series, the Soul’s slim design has a full metal body creating a premium look and feel.

Budding photographers will also swoon over the SAMSUNG Soul as it is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera and packed with features such as face detection, image stabiliser and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR). SAMSUNG Soul answers today’s customer needs for a multifunctional mobile combined into one single device.

SAMSUNG Soul will be launched with a £5 million national campaign, including outdoor, print, digital and a new television commercial, featuring music performed by talented singer-songwriter Robin Thicke.

Robin’s single, ‘Magic’, will debut when the campaign begins at the end of April. The commercial, titled “Imagination”, was directed by Vincent Ward, the Academy Award winning producer, and focuses on the understated and elegant design of Soul.
